Recently, with permission from the Board of Directors of Cho Ray Hospital, International Consumer Product Investment Joint Stock Company (S&B) has officially deployed automatic retail infrastructure on the hospital’s campus. Cho Ray Hospital was built and established in 1900 on an area of 50,000 square meters and expanded to 53,000 square meters with an 11-storey building in 1974 and became the largest hospital in Southeast Asia at that time. The deployment of vending machines at Cho Ray hospital marks a big milestone for S&B’s penetration into Ho Chi Minh market. After this trial installation, S&B will continue to deploy a series of vending machines in other departments across the hospital and other central hospitals.
Cho Ray Hospital is the 18th hospital to be deployed in the chain of automatic retail systems of ICP nationwide. Immediately after going into operation, it received very positive feedback from the management board as well as consumers. In the first day, the system sold more than 250 products of all kinds, bringing consumers satisfaction, convenience with quality and reasonable price.
